Not to over dramatise, but I think Polis is one of the best experiences I have ever had. Due to the concept - taking classes, working on projects in different countries and comparing how things are organised - I learnt a lot. And it was good fun.”

Since its launch in 1997, forty-four students have graduated from Polis with an MA in European Urban Cultures, going on to a wealth of varied and exciting careers.

From a housing policy-maker in Holland to a producer of cultural festivals in South America, we asked our Polis alumni what they’re up to now, the highlights of the course and the challenges they faced.
